Since the discovery of tobacco in the 1600s and its adoption as a habit worldwide, the dangers of smoking have become increasingly well known.
Inspired by this, PuffAway Hawk has risen to challenge to pioneer a revolution in electronic cigarettes. This is the basis for the imagery on PuffAway Hawk’s packaging, where PuffAway is represented by the attacking Hawk and its clean vapour – this symbolises taking up the challenge of overcoming the dangers of traditional cigarettes, as represented by the snake and its toxic smoke.
Aiming the product at a young market & within a tight budget, I took inspiration from the sleek & modern ipod packaging of the time & developed a range of boxes that echoed that sleek modernity but at a much lower cost. The result is an eye-catching & high-tech looking product.
